The Insulation

I’ve had good luck using Mooney and Moses for my insulation work. By engaged with my subs – making their job easier, I, in the end, get a better product.  To get the best job here, I made large accesses to the different spaces and kept the HVAC ducting and electrical work neat so they could easily move around in the already tight spaces.

There were three different work crews from the company, each doing a different task. The first crew installed the fiberglass ‘bat’ insulation behind the knee walls and the joist ends in the basement. The second crew had a high volume blower for the roof rafters and the open flat areas. The third crew blew insulation into the harder to access walls and joist ends on the second floor.

There is a lot of air movement where the joist are let into the brick between the first and second floor.
