The Beginning

Laura Hasenstab lived in the house for about 25 years. She started a Chihuahua rescue from her home here. Sadly I didn’t get to meet her since she passed away about 9 months prior to my purchasing the house. She was a very spiritual person with an intimate shrine in the living room and a delicate rock garden that still exists today. I hope that she would have been pleased with how her home got transformed.

This is Laura. The photo was taken by her friend Mary ann.

First floor landing. Ceramic watch dogs... love it. The peel and stick floor seen here covered almost the entire second floor.

Second floor sitting room. I divided this room into a closet accessed from the hall and a large walk-in closet off the front bed in what I'm calling 'the office'.
